Promoter Holding Change (QoQ, %)
The change in promoter holding percentage compared to the prior quarter, expressed in percentage points. A value of +1.5 means promoters now own 1.5% more of the total equity than three months ago.
This screener requires a positive change for at least two consecutive quarters. A one-quarter uptick could be routine; two consecutive quarters signals deliberate accumulation rather than a single block purchase or bonus issue effect.

Promoter Holding (%)
The total percentage of equity held by promoters and promoter-group entities as of the most recent quarter.
High is better
Pledged Shares (% of Total Equity)
The percentage of total equity pledged by promoters as collateral for loans. A promoter buying shares while pledged percentage is also rising is a contradictory signal — they may be borrowing to buy, which is a very different risk profile from buying with free cash.
This screener requires pledged percentage to be declining or zero. Rising promoter holding + declining pledge is the clean version of the insider signal. Rising promoter holding + rising pledge is a warning sign, not a buy signal.
